Our team works with clients from owner managed business, to large multinational organisations, and we are looking for a Senior Manager with a strong financial, accounting and tax background to assist clients across as suite of innovation advisory services including R&D tax Credits, Patent Box, R&D Allowances, Grants and Innovation Advisory services.

Role summary

The role is responsible for driving strategic risk initiatives aligned to the global audit strategy and managing global risk processes. The role comprises a combination of leading and supporting on significant ad-hoc project work as well as developing and oversight of operational risk management processes and reporting. The nature of the work is high profile and will provide opportunities to interact with senior levels of leadership in the global firm. The role reports to the Head of GQ&RM Audit.

This role sitsis specifically aimed at supporting our Clients in the Middle East to deliver finance and regulatory change. Successful candidates should have excellent Financial Services Industry experience, in-depth knowledge of Finance Operating Models and Finance Systems and be willing to the Middle East for client delivery as required. 

Our Balance Sheet Optimisation team provides advice to clients across Financial Services (banks, insurers, investment firms) on approaches for optimising their balance sheets considering prudential regulatory requirements, macroeconomic conditions, market dynamics and their business strategy.

As a Senior Manager, you will be a core team member on client projects, have technical expertise and support our leadership team in the development of business opportunities. We are seeking an adaptable individual with either direct industry or consulting experience in this area.

As a Qualified Actuarial Consultant at KPMG you take a lead delivery role, managing small teams across a wide range of client projects such as IFRS 17 impact assessments and implementations, finance transformations, companies mergers and acquisitions, providing advice on capital models or supporting our own Audit colleagu
