Base Location: We would look at London, Birmingham, Manchester, and Leeds plus network of 20 offices nationally.

Our IGH (Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare) Technology Risk team is a multi-disciplinary team that offers a wide variety of assurance related advisory services to help our clients build digital trust in their organisations. This includes IT internal audit, IT risk management, independent programme assurance, clinical systems assurance, GRC tooling and Tech Transformation (AI, Strategy etc). We are proud of helping our clients to innovate and navigate regulatory and governance challenges along the way and work closely alongside other specialist technology teams in IT Consulting such as our CIO Advisory, Cyber and Data Analytics teams as well as our wider Tech Risk teams in Financial Services and Corporates.

As a Lead AI Engineer, you will report to AI Engineering Squad Lead and lead the technical delivery of AI projects within your squad, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, developers, cloud architects, and audit professionals to create scalable AI systems that improve audit quality, efficiency, and insights.

KPMG has one of the leading Indirect Tax practices in the UK. We work as a national practice providing advice and support in all aspects of Indirect Tax (VAT, Customs Duty, Green taxes) to a broad range of business sectors including large multi-nationals, household name retailers and public sector organisations. The Indirect Tax practice is a fast-growing and dynamic business, currently with 13 partners and approximately 220 professional staff in the UK.

We have a significant growth plan over the next three years and in order to support this we are looking to recruit motivated individuals who are seeking a real challenge, to build on our successes to date and help us achieve our growth targets.

This Manager role is Financial Services focussed. KPMG has one of the largest Financial Services Indirect Tax departments, advising banking, insurance, investment management, asset backed finance, real estate and private equity clients across a broad range of issues.

The Manager will be responsible for ensuring the quality of delivery at this specialist level and will be actively involved in managing the performance of junior colleagues within the team.
