Within Audit Technology, our ‘ERP Analytics’ capability performs a large amount of assurance and advisory work in helping clients get more value out of their Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Business Management systems, specifically SAP, Oracle as well as GRC and/or data analytical solutions on top of the ERP.

Our projects include extracting, analysing and visualising data from our client’s ERP systems to support audit and advisory engagements covering: process control, process & control optimisation, security, and ERP related GRC services. This work is delivered through stand-alone assignments, or as part of external and internal audit, or wider advisory engagements.

Role Responsibilities and Duties:

- Audit and advice clients that operate SAP or Oracle systems including GRC.
- Help clients enhance their own ERP data analytics capability.
- Work stream lead / SME on SAP/ Oracle/ GRC control and/or data analytics engagements.
- Building and managing strong client relationships across a range of clients.
- Developing internal networks and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues across KPMG, but in particular in the Audit and wider Advisory areas.
- Contributing to practice management, e.g. innovation, training, knowledge management.
- Responsible for the quality, value and timely delivery of a number of engagements. This will include delivery of the high demand for data and analytics for some of our largest and most complex external and internal audits, but also supporting Consulting and Tax projects.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

- Proven experience of successfully delivering SAP/ Oracle security, control, data analytics and GRC services (including external/internal audit) to medium/ large, multi-national clients. Including, for example, experience in Oil & Gas, Retail, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Utilities and Life Sciences sectors.
- Proven experience in auditing and advising clients that operate SAP/ Oracle.
- Proven experience in business process and functional experience of key SAP/ Oracle Financials modules, including SAP HANA and/or Oracle Fusion
- Proven functional experience of GRC, Financials, BPC and BI.

The Team

KPMG's Integration & Separation Advisory Team works with both acquirers and vendors on pre- and post-deal Integration and Separation issues related to M&A or similar transactions. There are a number of key proposition areas:
- Synergy evaluation – understanding the potential benefits and costs of a transaction.
- Pre-completion planning – developing high level plans for the first 100 days by workstream, setting up programme governance and developing Day 1 plans to take control.

The Associate Director Role

The role will have 5 distinct core parts to it which are Client Delivery, Risk Management, Business Development, Practice Development and Leadership within the team (on a project).
Client delivery
The role of an AD is about leading an Integration or Separation engagement at deal pace and delivering high quality client work alongside senior client stakeholders. Working in a transaction environment which may be pre or post deal, and can range from early planning, developing summary or fully detailed and costed “blueprint plans”, planning for D1, planning post deal implementation, and ultimately supporting execution. Including:
- Producing and overseeing development of the initial and final draft updates, outputs and deliverables to required timescale and ahead of Partner / Director review
- Leading client interactions and updates around the deliverables and outputs of an Integration or Separation engagement
- Understanding of the operations of a business across all functional areas, and understanding the interdependencies between organisations and the transaction workstreams
- Project managing across the entire separation/integration programme/a number of different workstreams on such programme

Risk Management:

- As an AD in the core I&S team the individuals are expected to actively contribute to developing pitches, proposals and external market initiatives which help us to win new work as well as look out and help to convert new opportunities on existing engagements

Restructuring Associate Director, Insolvency

The Insolvency Restructuring team in London are looking for an Associate Director to join their team. We are looking for an individual to work alongside colleagues in the part of the team that are responsible for providing insolvency and contingency planning advice in large, complex situations often involving multi-jurisdictional advice.


The team delivers a blend of stakeholder advisory work, typically linked to providing advice around distressed businesses and supporting restructuring via the use of insolvency procedures as well as undertaking formal insolvency work for typically large and complex institutions.


The team is not aligned to specific sectors and specialisms, however there are individuals with significant experience in certain areas and situations and we would welcome this in applicants. Applicants however should expect to work across all sectors as situations and client demand.


Where possible, assignments will be resourced to suit individual s' base locations, but the nature and unpredictability of our work will mean that some travel (and possible international working) will be required.
