The role will sit within our Finance Transformation team which brings together consulting professionals with a background in implementing change in finance functions for large corporate clients. We aim to take out clients’ finance functions beyond being “score keepers” and instead positioning finance as the “co-pilot” to the business, at the centre of driving growth and decision making. Applicants should have prior experience in a large corporate, as well as in-depth knowledge of finance processes and technology. MS Dynamics 365 F&O Lead Supply Chain Management Consultant

The Microsoft Business Solutions (MBS) business unit at KPMG is looking for a Dynamics 365F&O Lead Finance Consultant with experience in all phases of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365F&O projects.

The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach and proven experience in end-to-end implementations, combined with a strong understanding of SCM process and procedures and practical knowledge of interfacing and integration with Dynamics products. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, leading onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams. This role will also require a level of presales activities focused around Dynamics F&O functionality and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development whilst leading and mentoring more junior staff.

 

This role is therefore key to KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions’ customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations solutions. It is a dynamic and exciting opportunity to join a rapidly developing business area within an established and market-leading global firm.


Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Supply chain management workstream of full end-to-end D365 F&O implementations through all phases of the project life cycle
  • Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream

  • Ownership of the solution for the Supply chain / logistics work stream, making design decisions and reviewing/creating solution documentation
  • Solves and advises on complex problems with creative solutions
  • Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable
  • Provide on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of project to client and more junior team members
  • Advise client and delivery team members of scope (creep) and use of change control processes
  • Demonstrate ability around upselling and understanding of additional company capabilities
  • Knowledge of product roadmap and the content of future releases of D365FO in the supply chain area and demonstrate changes/additions to team members
  • Involvement in responding to RFPs and RFQs and other pre-sales activities as required
  • Involvement in further development of SCM capabilities in D365 F&O product team
  • Contribute to practice development activities and involvement in the creation and delivery of these to fellow colleagues

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills

    • Proven experience with Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (D365F&O) or AX2012 with a minimum of 3 end to end implementations
    • Extensive experience in consulting and very good presentation skills
  • Ability to lead meetings and workshop, and confidently present to the C-Suite
  • Demonstrable, hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations (D365FO) implementation experience including the following modules and areas:
    • Inventory Management
    • Master Planning
    • Procurement and Sourcing
    • Product Information Management
    • Production control
    • Sales and Marketing
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and customer management
  • Strong understanding of inventory processes
  • Strong understanding of inventory and production postings and accounting processes.
  • Knowledge of production and master planning
  • Experience with transportation and advanced warehousing is desirable
  • Knowledge / understanding of logistics and production processes, principles, functionality & systems
  • Experience with (D365F&O) interfacing and Integration
  • Microsoft Dynamics certification in Trade and Logistics, ideally most current version
  • Strong MS Office skills (primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Visio is a plus)
  • Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) is preferred
  • Experience responding to RFPs and RFQs is a must
  • Experience in mentoring more junior consultants is a must
