Role and Responsibilities

• Liaise directly with clients to plan Assurance fieldwork and information requirements
• Juggle multiple client requests when working on different Assurance engagements
• Assist manager in completing engagement and client acceptance procedures
• Draft engagement letters for known/current/ongoing Assurance work
• Prepare e-AudIT file (KPMG’s electronic audit file) at the start of each Assurance engagement
• Oversee work performed by onshore and offshore juniors
• Develop template e-AudIT files for different types of Assurance engagements
• Prepare final Assurance reports for manager review. Resolve queries as they are raised.
• Ensure e-AudIT file is complete prior to Assurance report being signed
• Support manager in engagement finances and budgeting.
• Support manager in preparing and monitoring engagement budgeting
• Direct and coach onshore and offshore juniors to assist them in the effective delivery of engagements
• Support in developing and improving the standardised Assurance work programmes

Skills, Qualifications and Experience required

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CA or international equivalent within Audit at either a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
• Experienced in preparing audit/Assurance working papers.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues, or escalate as appropriate.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• The desire to work in a diverse environment and undertake new challenges.
• Strong project management techniques including analytical skills, time management, prioritisation and organisation skills.
• Strong IT literacy, including Excel and Word.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for multiple manager roles within Credit Risk Assurance in London.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Acting as a technical specialist on the external audit of credit risk models (IFRS 9, CECL, Regulatory) at our audit entities responsibilities will include:

• Technical model development documentation review
• Technical model validation documentation review
• Assessment of model performance
• Credit risk governance reviews
• Credit risk policy and procedure reviews
• Individual credit file reviews
• Complete technical analysis for workstreams within both IFRS9 and credit risk modelling engagements.
• Managing the team of 2-3 individuals from a functional and pastoral point of view
• Advising non audit clients on the impact of changing requirements in provision accounting standards (IFRS9) and helping clients

The Person

Skills, Qualifications, Experience and Background

• Demonstrable experience working within a credit risk model development/ validation function within a bank or professional services firm;
• Demonstrable experience managing a team of 2 or more people in a credit risk model development/ validation function
• Experience in credit risk modelling techniques;
• Knowledge and practical experience in accounting and risk requirements as related to IFRS9; CECL and regulatory credit risk models;
• Demonstrable experience of in all aspects of model development/ validation within Retail/ Wholesale banking;

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365O Functional Lead Consultant with experience in functional analysis of large-scale enterprise Dynamics 365O with a hands-on approach and thorough experience in end
to end implementations, along with interfacing and integration of Dynamics AX products. Consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants while also working with both onshore and offshore development teams.
