The Role

Sales is a high profile opportunity within KPMG. You will be playing a crucial role in helping to drive the Managed Services business forward and will be part of a dynamic team culture offering strong internal networks and support.
As a Manager you will be responsible for supporting and shaping the design of solutions to meet client demand in the Managed Service domain. Solutions include KYC/CDD, Remediation and Complaint handling.
We are seeking individuals that can bring together technology, Subject Matter Experts and Operational execution to design and position connected solutions to clients
Your role will be to support and manage a number of targets to drive opportunities, relationships and revenue across Managed Services and the wider firm.
Working closely with senior management, you will work on MS propositions to support industry issues and liaise with colleagues to target new customer bases and generic processes that can apply across sectors.
The role will be required to support and work towards taking a lead on sales activity including working closely with the Sales Director, Operational Solutions Architects and Operational Delivery team to ensure that a targeted and cohesive proposal is prepared and delivered for each client RFP.
During the proposal process, you will take a lead and you must be able to work independently and able to assemble and manage teams to provide the appropriate response. This will involve building excellent relationships with a diverse number of people within KPMG. The Role

• Support senior manager to lead the Risk and Assurance team for Managed Services across the UK & KGS. Responsibility for overall risk management in the ongoing delivery of Managed Services.
• Meet with clients during mobilisations and throughout the engagement lifecycle to discuss how Managed Services can be delivered within a regulatory / compliance framework.
• Design and maintain appropriate quality and risk control processes across both onshore and offshore operations.

• Maintain a portfolio of clients and take responsibility for ensuring their tax computations are prepared to a high standard, on a timely basis and finalised and submitted to HMRC within agreed deadlines.
• Oversee the work of assistant managers, providing coaching and technical guidance as part of the overall review process.
• Work with the KPMG local office teams nationally and/or the client directly to understand the requirements at the start of each compliance cycle and ensure that these are reflected in the final computation and return.
• Potential visits to clients/ local offices when appropriate.
• On more complex clients, act as the main point of liaison with the client to obtain additional information if required, feeding back to the tax computation preparers to enable them to provide an updated draft computation for subsequent review.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, preparing technical analysis and involving specialists as appropriate to prepare or review analysis.
• Carry out a full manager review of computations and other deliverables prior to sending to clients and HMRC.
• Provide advice and support to the KPMG local office team and/or client, as requested, including for example providing assistance in the drafting of responses to HMRC correspondence and preparing tax accounting disclosures.
