Job description
Business Development Executive
Responsible for driving utilisation and dependence upon KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions as the go-to place for all Microsoft at KPMG. Providing trusted advisor expertise with memberfirms around their strategic approach to fulfilling their client’s business and technology needs. Creates and progresses opportunities for MBS in the International market by leveraging a hybrid skillset of business development, presales, technical excellence and delivery. Advocates innovation both within the firm and with clients and takes a role in developing team members to their full potential as well as promoting collaboration across teams.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Main Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Create and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for business growth.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide regular reports on business development activities and results.
- Assist stakeholders the generation of pipeline and execution of sales for the organisation
- Identify and develop opportunities for the organisation to diversify across sub industry, emerging technology and services propositions to build pipeline
- Work with KPMG teams to create integrated propositions to meet the needs of specific industries or clients to build pipeline
- Ensure that client relationships and commercial engagements are managed effectively to ensure successful delivery and long-term relationship development
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
