This exciting role is within our International Tax Team based in the London office, focussing on the changing tax landscape for multinational businesses. You’ll join a high performing team, supporting them in advising some of the largest and most complex organisations.

We are looking for a talented individual at Director level to support our continued rapid growth. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic and challenging working environment, supported by a strong and ambitious leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of multinational clients, delivering high-quality tax advisory services including tax structuring, refinancing, legal structure optimisation, pre/post transaction reorganisations, tax authority enquiries and providing technical support to the wider corporate tax team.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the optimal route to market, working with a range of stakeholders to explore opportunities for opening up conversations with both clients and targets.
  •  Provide strategic input on international tax structuring, business reorganisations, operating model redesigns, and global tax policy changes (e.g. BEPS 2.0).
  • Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge of relevant technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex technical matters to a range of audiences.  Good working knowledge of key non-UK tax regimes relevant to your core client base.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects, coordinating cross-functional and cross-border teams.
  • Develop and adapt business strategy in response to evolving client needs and global tax trends.
  • Champion compliance and risk protocols, embedding Global Tax Principles into all engagements.
  • Drive business development initiatives, leveraging market insights and client relationships.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and high-performance culture.
  • Being a role model for KPMG’s values.

Required Skills and Experience

  • ACA, CA, CTA, ACCA or equivalent qualified with strong corporate tax and accounting knowledge.
  • Proven track record in international tax advisory, ideally within a Big Four or equivalent environment.
  • Strong technical expertise in corporate tax, international structuring, and tax risk management.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing complex engagements and client relationships.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical advice into strategic business value.
  • Pro-active in identifying and progressing business opportunities for the long-term benefit of both KPMG and the client.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in navigating multi-jurisdictional tax environments and regulatory frameworks.
  • Commitment to equality, inclusion, and ethical leadership.
  • Ability to develop, coach and lead staff, as well as manage stakeholders.
  • High level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
