Job Title:
Retail – Assistant Manager – Operational Resilience
Location :UK
Key Responsibilities:
- We require the individual to deliver Operational Resilience client projects and support internal proposition development across all sectors.
- Support the integration of broader risk and regulatory topics within Operational Resilience.
- Advise clients on the benefits and impact of Operational Resilience regulations, current industry practices and advancements.
- Keep abreast of all latest trends and any new Operational Resilience regulations, leveraging international SME support where applicable.
- Contributing capability experience to Operational Resilience bids and broader Risk and Regulatory Advisory bids and engagements as a SME in your field of expertise.
- Support the planning and performing Operational Resilience analysis and assessments using proven methodologies. As well as, supporting the design, development and implementation of Operational Resilience strategies, target operating models and implementation plans.
The Person
Desirable Qualifications, Skills, Experience & Knowledge
- Strong understanding of Operational Resilience and its underlying components (Business Continuity & Crisis Management).
- Good understanding of financial services firms' businesses, structures, governance frameworks, risk management and process and control arrangements, in the Financial Services sector (especially Banking and/or Investment Management sectors).
- Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills and ability to develop and maintain strong internal and external networks.
- Experience of Operational Resilience regulation impacting banking clients and knowledge of new regulatory developments impacting them.
- Flexibility and agility to contribute in a senior capacity to a broad range of Operational Resilience related engagements.
- Excellent oral / written communication, planning, project management, networking and influencing skills.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to manage junior team members, including decision-making, time management, prioritisation, organisation, and evaluation skills.
- An interest in technology solutions to support the embedding of Operational Resilience within the Financial Services sector.
- Flexibility to work across the UK (and internationally) where required.
