About this Team
The Global AI Programme Team is responsible for the delivery of KPMG’s $45m GGA investment into AI, and the coordination of the wider firm investment into AI. This role will drive the Global AI Programme to ensure that KPMG is able to capitalise on the opportunities that AI provides. This role will take responsibility for the portfolio of activities that underpin the Global AI Strategic Framework.
This framework spans a number of key pillars which are designed to cover the following;
- Enhancing the way the KPMG Goes to Market and how we can build out our brand in relation to AI
- Working with Global client-facing functions - enhancing existing service offerings with AI and developing new AI solutions to take to market; transforming how we sell and deliver to our clients
- Developing strategies to look at Business Model Disruption and how KPMG may need to adapt in the medium to long term to leverage the opportunities of AI
- Working with internal functions within KPMGI to embed AI into processes and how we work
- Getting AI in the hands of our people with the development and deployment of market leading enterprise AI tools
- Upskilling our people and building an AI ready workforce of the future
- Ensuring our approach is Trusted by design and that Trusted AI sits at the forefront of everything we do
Role summary
This pivotal role supports the execution and enablement of the regional activation and adoption of AI. The Global AI Regional Enablement Sr. Associate will partner with the regional and Member Firm (MF) AI leads to implement and tailor AI initiatives to local priorities and support the activation of AI in the region. Under the Global AI Regional Activation Lead, they will support the activation of globally build AI assets within the region while owning the regional activation team’s project plan and tactical execution; providing hands on, day-to-day support to ensure timely execution of priorities.
Key Accountabilities
Support Regional Activation:
- Collaborate with regional and country teams to identify and prioritize AI initiatives
- Support execution of activation plans for AI projects and programs, ensuring alignment with global strategies
- Monitor and track key metrics aligned to AI initiatives, providing regular updates and reports to stakeholders
Program Management:
- Support data collection for the region and associated Member Firms for the regional scorecard
- Manage regional activation team tactical project plans, timelines, artifacts, etc.
- Support management and monitoring of the budget for country activation initiatives
Building Relationships and Partnerships:
- Build strong relationships with appropriate key stakeholders across the regional Member Firm teams
- Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing between countries to accelerate AI adoption
Communication and Advocacy:
- Communicate the value and impact of AI initiatives to stakeholders across the organization
- Advocate for the adoption of AI solutions within the country, addressing concerns
Strategic Planning Support:
- Assess and escalate potential risks and challenges associated with AI implementation, providing input on mitigation plans to address them
Experience / Knowledge / Qualification
Experience & Knowledge:
- Proven experience in project and related fields and team management, with a proven track record of managing project workstreams within successful projects and programs.
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing business needs and related technologies, at speed.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels: This includes senior management, country teams, and partners.
- Strong project management skills: This includes the ability to plan, track, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to provide proactive and strategic updates to leadership, including effectively articulating project risks and corresponding mitigation plans.
- Global mindset and cultural sensitivity: Understanding of different cultures and the ability to adapt to diverse business environments.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn fast, in a rapidly changing world of AI.
Tech skills & qualifications:
- Effective and efficient advanced use of MS Office tools.
- Some experience with project management and project visualisation tools (Jira, Monday, etc).
Some experience experimenting with enterprise grade AI tools. Proven track record of managing project workstreams leading and managing within successful projects and programs.
