Role summary
The IT Infrastructure / Cloud / End User Operations and Support Lead is a senior leadership role responsible for establishing and driving KDN's IT Infrastructure / Cloud / End User Operations delivery and support strategy - ensuring the seamless delivery of IT services, optimising infrastructure performance, providing efficient end user support, and driving the adoption of innovative technologies (specifically AI) to meet the business's evolving needs.
How will you make your mark?
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of KDN's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage systems, networks, and data centers
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of all IT systems and infrastructure
- Manage cloud-based resources, ensuring efficient usage, cost optimization, and security
- Lead the end user support team to provide timely and effective resolution of IT-related issues
- Develop and manage support processes, including incident management, problem management, and change management
- Supervise and mentor a team of IT professionals, including Service management administrators, network engineers, system administrators, database administrators and Cloud engineers
- Implement AI-powered automation to enhance operational efficiency and service quality
- Create a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across teams
This is the job for you if you have
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and end user support, with proven experience in a leadership role
- Strong technical knowledge of network architecture, cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, and enterprise IT systems
- Proven experience in leading and managing IT teams
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills
- Strong project management skills and experience with project management methodologies. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
