The Role:
It is a technology consulting role including technical pre-sales, business development, advisory and delivery.
Key responsibilities:
Pre-sales and Business Development
• Deliver technical pre-sales process via demo, discovery, solution architecture, PoCs, workshops and Cloud readiness assessments
• Engage and Build long-term, trusted advisor relationships with clients during sales, delivery and post-delivery
• Understand the business and technical challenges of our clients, contribute to identify the appropriate, impactful and transformative solutions swiftly.
• Identify and upsell opportunities while delivering engagements.

Delivering Client Engagements
• Deliver client engagements within the agreed timeframe with great quality, proactively identify risks, issues and resolve using appropriate channels.
• Deliver cloud architecture, migration and cloud-native builds
• Understand how the legacy technology stack and architecture can evolve to enable cloud-based services across a customer journey

Practice Development
• Contributing to build market-facing cloud propositions and assets, working collaboratively with the capability groups
• Build cloud delivery accelerators, pre-sales and business development assets
• Contribute to our wider capability group by developing services and people, liaising with other capabilities (such as Risk or Engineering) and producing cloud advisory thought leadership
• Collaborate with colleagues to maximise and share our knowledge and experience.

The Person:
Consulting skills
• Strong hands-on experience in Architecture and implementation of public cloud in one or more of the major CSP – AWS, Azure and Google.
• Expert level in Kubernetes/ container management platform, Terraform, Python, open-source CICD technologies, Cloud storage, big data and cloud-native services (Preferred GCP services experience)
• Experience in architecting and implementing multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions. Google Anthos experience is added advantage for this role.
• Proven experience in building and delivering Technical Pre-sales (demo, PoCs and assessments)
• Strong business development skills, client relationship and presentation skills.
• Cloud Architect Certification from one or more major cloud providers.
• Consulting experience from Financial Services sector.

The Team

The Cloud Security and Solution Architect supports the planning, quality assurance, architecture design, and innovation for security services for KPMG’s global cloud enablement.
