We help financial services organisations – Banks, Insurance companies, FMIs, Wealth and Asset managers and Fintechs – to change and adapt to the environment in which they operate.  Changes may be driven by decisions to digitise, to streamline, to pivot, to respond to new regulation or to harness the benefits of analytics or new technology.   Or they may be driven by acquisition or disposal.  Whatever the reason, our clients are continually re-designing parts of the organisation, and that’s where we come in.   We are looking for experienced consultants who can lead Change and Organisation Design workstreams on complex, business critical programmes.  We expect the consultant to be able to scope, price and design our approach for a particular client (with support from a Partner or Director), and then to lead delivery of this work, including managing teams of more junior consultants.   Many of our projects are multi-disciplinary, and you will be expected to work and collaborate with colleagues from other service lines such as technology, finance, customer or analytics.    We expect the successful applicant to have the following technical skills

We are seeking talented individuals with experience of SAP S/4HANA implementations across various Supply Chain solution process areas.   • As an Engagement Manager, and/or as a Solution Architect lead the delivery of high-quality SAP S/4HANA advisory and delivery projects

The Role

 

  • Lead the design and delivery of a Supply Chain workstream on a large SAP S/4HANA project
  • Use Business skills along with knowledge of SAP Supply Chain workstream to design and implement complex solutions for customers and between other workstreams
  • Understand client supply chain requirements and integration points with other functional areas, to optimise the processes and maximise the benefits of SAP
  • Design and implement process improvements by going through the project cycle (design, build, test, training, go-live, post go-live support)
  • Advise on technical integration of the SAP application with other customer and 3rd party tools/applications within Supply Chain
  • Lead and Support business development and sales initiatives including bid and proposal support/presenting with our SAP clients
  • Monitor SAP and Industry trends including awareness of SAP Roadmap and enhancements

 

The Person


SAP Supply Chain functional expertise in at least one of the following solution areas:

    • SAP Integrated Business Planning
    • SAP PP/DS
    • SAP Digital manufacturing cloud (DMC)

    • SAP extended Warehouse Management
    • SAP Enterprise Asset Management/PM/MRO
    • SAP Order Management & Fulfilment/AATP/Logistics Execution
    • SAP Product Lifecycle Management

  • Strong functional understanding of SAP S/4 HANA Supply Chain process area and how they integrate with other business functions
  • Advise on technical integrations of SAP applications with other client and 3rd party tools/applications in the Supply Chain process area
  • SAP system design, build and deployment experience – 4 full lifecycle implementations preferred
  • Experience of SAP in Manufacturing industries, Consumer Packaging Goods, Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, or Retail
  •  Experience of facilitating a design workshop and then translating the requirements into design
  • Ability to build strong client relationships based on subject matter expertise and quality of delivery
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Well-developed analytical skills and the ability to provide clarity to complex issues, and synthesize large volume of information
  • Strong interpersonal, team building, organisational and motivational skills
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with varying team members 
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity
  • Support business development and sales initiatives including bid and proposal support with our SAP clients (comfortable in presenting to C-Suite Stakeholders)
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment and supporting multiple activities such as mentoring and capability knowledge transfer to enhance the practice.
  • Possess working knowledge of digital trends in Supply Chain (e.g., ESG, Industry 4.0, SCM Digital Solutions that integrate with SAP)
  • Team Lead Experience (on/offshore)

We have an exciting opportunity to build procurement knowledge and skills capability across UK central government and the wider public sector. This will be done through a large-scale training and development programme centred on the latest legislation due to be passed in Parliament (‘The Procurement Bill’) and the regulations that sit under it.
