Due to our incredible business growth, we have multiple positions available in our Asset Management Tax Team, serving a diverse client base across the FS sector. This particular role is for an Assistant Manager or Manager to support a fast-paced, highly technical team in providing bespoke global tax services to major institutional investors and asset managers dealing with publicly traded securities.
Your Role:
- Master Technical Knowledge: Dive deep into the advisory aspect of operational taxes, including global withholding tax, capital gains tax, transfer tax, and related global tax compliance.
- Navigate Global Withholding Tax Relief Opportunities: Learn how clients can access WHT relief by way of ruling applications or tax reclaims under applicable tax treaties, domestic provisions and/or claims under the European Court of Justice.
- Client Relationship Management: Handle large global client relationships and projects with finesse.
- Collaborate Globally: Work closely with KPMG’s extensive network of member firms worldwide.
- Drive Business Development: Participate in business development and proposals to attract new clients.
- Innovate with Technology: Develop new client solutions in collaboration with our technology teams.
- Advocate Excellence: Represent KPMG and deliver “gold standard" services.

Who We're Looking For:
- Tax Compliance and Advisory Expertise: Experience in managing tax compliance and tax advisory projects. Candidates must be professionally qualified CTA/ACA (or equivalent). FS or asset management tax-specific experience is not mandatory.
- Project Management Skills: Excellent project management and client-facing abilities.
- Passion and Resilience: A strong desire to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech Enthusiasm: A keen interest in emerging technologies and evolving tax regulations.
- Innovative Thinking: Ability to create client propositions from new tax developments.
- Growth Mindset: Knowledge of tax matters relating to institutional investors and asset managers with respect to publicly traded securities is not mandatory as this will be developed in role.
