Partner Onboarding Specialist (12-month FTC)

Base Location: Birmingham

The Partnership Office at KPMG acts as a central hub, providing comprehensive support to Partners throughout their entire journey, from recruitment to retirement. This team offers efficient, effective, and personalised service to all partners (current and past), ensuring a seamless experience.

 

What will you be doing?

 

As a Partner Onboarding Specialist within the OEH Partnership Office Operations Team, you will manage the end-to-end interview and onboarding process for new Partners. Your role involves delivering high-quality and confidential administrative tasks to support the recruitment of new Partners. You will ensure that new Partners receive a seamless experience by offering proactive and timely updates to all involved.

 

  • Working closely with the Senior Partner Hire Team whilst managing the administration behind all Partners Interview/Panel arranging
  • Be an expert in the interview arranging process
  • Work closely with KPMG’s preferred recruitment suppliers to ensure the smooth-running of the recruitment experience for both candidates and business, acting as a first point of contact for hiring managers and the Partner Hire Recruitment Team.
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process of all allocated joiners, acting as a single point of contact for joiners, recruiters, and the business throughout the journey.
  • Manage pre-employment screening activities.
  • Provide an excellent level of service to all internal and external stakeholders by offering proactive and timely updates and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, communicating with impact and gaining agreement through promoting and negotiating a position to the benefit of all parties.
  • Be accountable and proactive, striving to deliver excellent customer service, operational efficiency, and processes.
  • As a Subject Matter Expert, have in-depth knowledge of the onboarding process and relevant supporting policies, advising on complex queries accurately and escalating where appropriate to the Team Leader.
  • Liaise with appropriate offshore support functions to ensure all required administrative activities are completed to meet the target joining date.
  • Lead or support wider ad hoc projects and tasks as needed, alongside your normal workload.
  • Take personal responsibility to adhere to ISO standards and GDPR regulations.

 

What will you need to do it?

 

  • Ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels.
  • High levels of resilience, with experience working in a highly pressurised customer-centric environment.
  • Logical, systematic, and coherent approach to issues, thinking outside the box and weighing up all options to make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and confidently negotiate at all levels.
  • Strong organizational, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Good IT office proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc., as well as SAP, SuccessFactors or equivalent HR system
