When you join our Forensic Technology programme you’ll experience varied work with far-reaching impact. You could work on a number of projects, from sanctions screening, transaction monitoring for money laundering activity and fraud monitoring where advanced analytics and machine learning techniques are applied, to vast quantities of financial and customer data and developing solutions that support client risk assessments and regulatory compliance.

You’ll be a part of our team providing Forensic Technology Services, which includes F-Tech and Forensic Data Analytics (FDA).

F-Tech supports clients and their legal advisors in response to litigation, civil disputes, investigations, regulatory, and Merger & Acquisitions matters. You’ll be a part of the team assisting clients through the preservation, collection, processing, reporting, and analysis of electronically stored information (ESI) such as emails, chat messages, and documents. The projects you’ll work on are often time critical and include global clients with footprints around the world, providing you with opportunities to work with other overseas offices including on site attendance. The work you’ll do will have a significant impact on our clients’ businesses and the communities we serve.

Forensic Data Analytics combines industry and technology expertise to create technology solutions for clients in response to Financial Crime, regulatory compliance, investigations, risk, strategic and operational matters. As part of the team, you’ll be consulting with clients and delivering solutions across data management, modelling and systems testing, that assist clients in assessing and optimising their financial crime systems. You could also be developing data-driven technology assets across a range of different platforms.

The team also works with unstructured data (including electronic and audio communications) to deliver trader surveillance services to financial services clients and develops new detection mechanisms through cloud-based APIs, including Azure Custom Speech ('voice to text') and machine learning models to improve the quality of preventative risk detection.

Our firm’s hybrid working model balances the flexibility of working from home with the importance of collaborating and learning in offices or at client sites. We trust our people to be where our clients need them to be, with our client-facing colleagues working together in person as often as needed. You’ll be empowered by the technology that supports us to work flexibly and our collaborative offices spaces, building friendships and shared experiences, innovating and learning together.

By joining us as a graduate, you’ll have the KPMG community at your side, providing the support you need to be at your best, fulfil your potential and build the career you want.
