Responsibilities

The Team

Trader Surveillance KPMG are looking for a manager with strong consulting skills to help clients detect risks within their business through the use of data analytics, on both structured and unstructured data (voice analytics and text analytics). This will involve the detection of a wide range of risks, for large financial institutions, including: market abuse, misconduct, fraud and financial crime.

The Role

This role is part of KPMG’s Forensics Data Analytics practice.

The successful candidate will have strong consulting skills with a broad understanding of using data analytics and technology to resolve client’s problems to drive insight from large volumes of data, including the detection of risks.
This role will involve working alongside strong technical staff, including Data Analysts, DBAs (Database Administrators) and Data Scientists. The successful applicant must be able to work with both the client and the technical teams. They will be comfortable leading project teams, delivering engagements and advising senior clients.

The applicant will also need to be able to help build and grow the business - this includes expanding existing work, identifying new opportunities and creating and delivering sales materials.
