Inclusive leadership

At KPMG, we believe that diversity is a reality but that inclusion is a choice. We’ve chosen to make every KPMG employee responsible for creating a work environment that values differences in thought, perspective and experience. We call it inclusive leadership. We view inclusive leadership as taking personal responsibility for building diverse teams and strong relationships to succeed in a complex and rapidly changing world. Fundamentally, this is about moving from “we should” to “I will”. 

In October 2014, we published a detailed breakdown of our 11,500 employees in the UK. Those figures give us a base line from which we will measure our success in evolving to become an even more diverse and inclusive organisation. Alongside those figures, we published our targets in relation to gender, ethnicity, disability and sexual orientation. We know where we are; we know where we want to be – and we have a strategy to get us there.
